I'm DJ Petersen — a software engineer based in Seattle, WA, building software at the intersection of infrastructure and product for Loading....

## Experience

I'm currently at , where I work across the stack on infrastructure and product. Before that I was at  building developer tools and services that run at massive scale.

I spent time at  working on frontend infrastructure, and at  on rider and driver products used by millions.

Earlier in my career I was at , helping build the operating system for global trade, and before that at  where I was an early engineer building fraud detection for insurance companies.

Each of these roles taught me something different abouthow to ship software that matters — from handling billions of requests to moving fast in a ten-person room.

## Philosophy

Measure twice, cut once.

I've worked across the full spectrum — from petabytes to pixels. Whether it's designing infrastructure that handles massive scale or refining the details of a user interface, I bring the same careful, deliberate approach. Understand the problem deeply, then build the right thing.
